Mouth Watering Lobster Recipe
A luxurious crustacean dish with floral saffron and tart sumac to tantilise the palate.

Ingredients

2 lobster tails (about 8–10 oz each), shell on

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

Pinch of saffron threads (soaked in 2 tbsp warm water)

1 garlic clove, minced
-
1 teaspoon ground sumac
-
Juice of ½ lime
-
Zest of 1 lime

Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 200 °C (390 °F).

Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of each lobster shell to expose the meat, gently lift meat and rest it on top of the shell.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, olive oil, saffron infusion, garlic, lime juice, lime zest, sumac, salt and pepper.

Brush this sauce generously over the lobster meat.

Bake lobsters, meat side up, on a baking tray for about 12–15 minutes (until meat is opaque and just cooked through).

Garnish with parsley and a light sprinkle more sumac if desired.
